MTB IN FINALE LIGURE
Finale Ligure is one of the 5 world meccas for mountain biking, after New Zealand, Canada, the United States and England, thanks to 1500 km of special trails for 4 different disciplines which are Cross Country, All Mountain, Enduro, Downhill and Freeride.
The areas of Finale Ligure are best known for MTB are mainly 5 and develop an area that can offer various and suggestive landscapes, from breathtaking sea side tracks to mountain landscapes:
1. Le Manie:
at the very beginning of Finale Ligure and Varigotti country side, this territory is characterized by Mediterranean vegetation with trails that overlook the sea with breathtaking views. In May, Le Manie is the Home of the 24h race competition, an unmissable event.
2. San Berbardino:
just above the village of Finale Ligure can be easily reached, it is one of the selected paths for the race of the Superenduro EWS competition, and is characterized by Mediterranean maquis and rocky trails.
a trail that starts from Borgio Verezzi, plenty of rocky paths, not suitable for beginners.
4. NATO Base:
this area includes some of the most famous trails of Finale Ligure, accessible via the bike shuttle services and takes its name from the NATO base that stands abandoned.
located in the Melogno area, known as the High Way of Ligurian Mountains, this area is characterized by woods, and hosts the New Roller Coaster, extremely long trail, unique in the world.
